December is coming! A month full of holiday cheer, bright, sparkling lights, and a peaceful time. Or not? Maybe my Journaling Advent Calendar is just what you need 🙂
Does your December look like this?
- A calendar full of appointments, (family) meetings, and the pressure to do it all as good as possible (ehm.. perfect!).
- You feel obligated to show the best version of yourself on all of those occassions, whether you feel happy, tired or sad.
- From the 1st until the New Year, you get into this whirlwind of things to do, and all you can do, is hope to get out safely on the other side.
- Or maybe you just give up beforehand. How many days until 2025?
What if December could be like this?
- Starting the day with a chance to clear your mind, and focus on yourself and your needs.
- Feeling a little rest in just 2 minutes of your day
- Taking time to reflect, reset and refill your cup.
- Feeling supported by someone who has got your back every day, and helps you get through the busy days.

BONUS!
We’ll be writing together! I’m organizing 3 ‘live writing’ moments, in which we get together online for 15 minutes, and write together in our own journals.
And as an extra service to you, you’ll receive an awesome printable of all the journaling questions. That way, you can recycle them throughout the new year.
Why choose challenges by Inspiration by Marlies.
Accessible. Simple. Pleasant. These three words are central to every challenge I organize. I don’t like complicated things when it comes to making time for yourself. It can really be easy.
This is what participants said about ‘Journaling for you’:
“I journal quite regularly, but it was really nice to have a sort of accountability each day. And not having to think about what to write was also relaxing. It flowed very naturally.”
Joyce
“Yes, this was such a wonderful challenge! It got me back into journaling, which created a lot of me-time moments and great insights! 😃 It was also nice not to have to think about what to write, as you had already decided that! 🤩”
Kim
“I just wanted to say I’m loving the journaling challenge. The message from my 80 year old self was particularly good.. and a bit emotional but very needed. Mange tak for making me a part of this “
Beth
Frequently asked questions about the Journaling Advent Calendar
What if I miss or forget a day?
If you forget to write one day or really can’t find the time, that’s totally okay! Just pick up where you left off the next day. I’m sometimes too busy to write as well. Then I’m extra happy when I manage to do it the next day.
Does it matter what time of day I write?
No, you decide when to write. I can’t decide for you whether it’s better to write in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Choose a time that suits you and your day. It’s only 2 minutes, so don’t make it too complicated for yourself. You likely spend 2 minutes mindlessly scrolling otherwise, right? 😉
When will I receive the email with the journal prompt?
The email is sent around 6 a.m. every day. This gives you more flexibility to choose when to write. You can write as early as 6 a.m. or later in the afternoon or evening.
How can I participate?
So excited that you want to join! You can participate by filling out the registration form. You’ll then receive an email with a payment link within 24 hours. And since I’ll already have your email address, you’ll be added to the list right away.
